Your Partner In Success Radio Show

Vickie MullinsVickie Mullins built Mullins Creative, a full-service graphic design firm, on a foundation of broad business experience in managerial roles including operations, advertising and retail. Her company excels in print design, with a specialty in multi-page documents … books, magazines, tabloids, directories, and company brand development and execution.

In 2006 Vickie started a publishing company after authoring a series of eight books. From the lessons she learned through the school of hard knocks, today she guides authors through the steps of becoming independent publishers where they maintain control of their books and their financial destiny. An expert on Special Market Sales, Vickie says she doesn’t care if she ever sells another single book … instead, she’d rather sell her books by the 1,000s.

Family, church and community are the focus of Vickie’s after hours. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona has been married for more than 30 years and is Mom to two grown children. She is an active volunteer with the American Diabetes Association, and has served her church in innumerable capacities. Her activities have earned her, and her company, many local and national awards.

We will be covering the in’s and out’s of getting your book published with the largest focus on self-publishing.

Unless you are a celebrity, the chances of selling thousands of books is slim to none. Until you think of your book as a business.

No matter how pretty a book, if the content is bad, the book won’t sell to anyone but friends and family.

The good, the bad and the ugly of current self-publishing opportunities.

You get what you pay for in book production.

Print on Demand. POD. The days of garages full of books are gone.

Selling on your web site vs. Amazon & Barnes and Noble, etc.

A book doesn’t have to be a huge tome to make a lot of money… booklets can do the job.
